EOR - Enhanced Oil Production surfactant based nano product

FI-1741 is a surfactant based nano product specially developed for improving the flow of low gravity oils with API’s as low as 9 API. It works best if the total production of oil has at least 20% water as a part of the total production. It has temperature limits of 180F to 82C.   This is also available in FI-1710H, with heat buffers added to the chemistry, for higher oil temperatures that ranging up to 400F to 204C.

Product Dilution

This is a water base chemical that is injected into the water injection system at a rate from 1500 ppm to 2500 ppm.

How to use it

FI-1741 and 1741H are both non soaking products and are to be injected down the back side of the tubing to be either used in Continuous Injections or in Batch Injection processes at the above rates for ppm’s. These products will change the viscosity of the oil and increases the production flow rate of the oil coming up the tubing.

Important notes

Note: In reviewing well stimulating programs always consider the review of the well’s core analysis data to understand each well’s Clay content within the formation. If Clay is found in the Formation, then a 2 to 3% KCL (Potassium Chloride) should be used as a dilution with the water volume to prevent most Clays from swelling and inhabiting the oil flows. In cases where high levels of Smectite are found in the well’s formation (Volumes Greater than 8%), then use our products are best used in conjunction with PHPA, or displaced with Nitrogen or CO2, during the stimulation process. Note: Each product above will change the formation’s rock from Oil Wet to Water Wet or are offered in specific products that will change the rock from Oil Wet to Water Wet.
